We all love to travel on inexpensive getaways. We’re used to scouring the Internet for the best vacation last minute deals. However, have you ever considered that you can also travel for free?
When I say traveling for free I mean by air or sea, and including lodging, meals, and entertainment.
Best yet. Free travel can be just as luxurious as expensive travel and a lot more pleasurable if you normally travel on a tight budget.
Typically, cruise lines offer free passage to those that “recruit” between 10 and 15 paying passengers. If you can’t get that many people to take a cruise, work out a prorated fair reduction. Here’s a hint. Plan your next family reunion on a cruise. Airlines also do something similar to this.
Are you an expert? You can cruise for free if you are. If you’re an expert in your field in things such as nature, anthropology, history, or worldwide travel, you’re in high demand on cruise ships. It helps to at least have your Master’s Degree but your willingness and desire to share what you know through lectures on a cruise increases your opportunity as well. In exchange for free lectures, you’ll receive, in most cases, a cruise… for free.
When I became a travel consultant, I did so because of my love of travel. Coming in second (or so I thought) was the amazing income associated with it. Who’d have thought I’d give up my nine-to-five job and trade it in for something I absolutely love. Travel. If you have a love of travel, you should consider it too. It was the best decision I ever made. (Read about it here)
