Hairdressers are great. They’re typically chatty (comes with the territory), they make great listeners, they have a captive audience, and they have the scissors. How many times have you, or how many people do you know that have gotten their hair done before a vacation? Tons right? You know that’s true.
If, as a hairdresser, you could also offer your clients a web site to book their travel at deep discounts, how much would they love you then? Now, of course, you more than likely can’t help the client who is leaving tomorrow but how about this conversation for next time:
Client: I just can’t wait to get to (vacation spot) I really need a break from work
Hairstylist: I know, you really deserve a break and listen… next time you plan a vacation, even if it’s just for a weekend, I can get you amazing deals with my membership so don’t forget to call me while you plan your next trip.
So now you have created even more value to this client. You can make them look wonderful, save them money, and you make even more money. No selling, no pushing… just do what you do and you can make a flat fortune just being yourself.
